Spirit Dream Visitation
A spirit dream visitation can be a powerful and healing experience while grieving. I know several people who have experienced a dream visitation recently, so I want to take a moment to share my thoughts on the subject. You can also watch me on YouTube, where I talk in more detail about these powerful dreams.
We may experience these types of dreams at different points in our lives, immediately after a loss, or even years later. There is no time limit on when we may experience one. However, many times right after someone passes away, they choose to seek us out in our dreams to let us know they are okay, and that their love for us continues from where they are.
The reason our loved ones in spirit may use our dreamscape to communicate with us is because our minds are most receptive to the other side during sleep, after our rational mind has shut down for the day.
Don’t be discouraged if you don't experience a dream visitation. It doesn't mean your loved one is not okay, or that they don’t love you. It just depends on the soul and what they need to work on in their life review.
If you haven't experienced a dream visitation yet, simply speak to your loved ones before bed and ask them to present themselves to you in the best way possible, so that you will be able to recognize them easily and remember the dream upon waking. Surrender to the timeline. Be patient, as it will happen when it is meant to be.
Dreams are only one way that Spirit sends us a sign that our loved ones are still with us. Look for other validating signs in your waking life that your loved one is listening. These signs tend to be unique to your loved ones on the other side.
In my second book, Signs from the Other Side, I talk about the countless ways in which Spirit gets our attention to convey that our loved ones are still connected to us. The signs are all around us if we choose to remain open to them. Anyone can learn to recognize these signs for themselves. It just takes trust in our own ability to perceive Spirit.
